Originally this study produced numbers that were about energy savings and assisting with the price increases of non-renewable resources that put economic strain on families. However, when conducting the study and researching the material, energy plans and retrofitting tie directly into lowering the U.S. consumption of non-renewable resources. The government, as stated in a previous section, is conducting steps to bring eco-friendly alternaternatives to energy production. In addition, these alternatives should also help economically. Until then, by following an energy plan and through retrofitting, Americans and global, can limit their use of non-renewable resources such as petrolium, coal, natural gas and nuclear power.
